Updating the Ferris Wheel – Part 1

The one problem I had with the Ferris wheel was I just couldn’t get the thing to spin on it’s own for… a variety of reasons. It’s also took quite the tumble early this spring during a storm. Several things snapped and needed to be repaired. So I decided to rebuild it, just a bit smaller and correct my problems from the first build.

Shortening up the poles and making sure every piece is 100% accurate and match the other pieces.

Re-Assembled on the old stand

The stand needs to have the old top support cut off and painted, but I got the wheel mounted and repainted. Nice and clean and red.

Next will be re-attaching the baskets, cleaning up the stand and then getting this sucker spinning!
